You Matter at UNI

You Matter at UNI Mental Health Awareness Week

You Matter at UNI is a mental health awareness week that occurs each academic year. The week is focused on creating mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and ultimately, creating a campus culture of care at UNI. The week includes a kick-off day, speakers/panels, a friend-to-friend training, and de-stressing activities. Throughout the week, free give-ways will be provided to students who attend the events. Due to lime green being the official color of mental health awareness, this color will be prominent throughout the week. Students will have the opportunity to obtain a You Matter at UNI T-shirt if they choose to donate to a fund to help other UNI students who cannot afford psychiatric services or do not have the insurance to cover it.
