Art Can Help
Giving students the opportunity to explore issues related to stress through carefully designed, contemporary art projects and experiences.
All of the members who are part of the development of Art Can Help know what it is like to feel overwhelmed and alone. Each of us has needed, at some point, the help of others to get through a difficult time. Each of us has also found that creative work has been extremely important to our well-being and personal growth. Each week, group leaders will introduce a creative project that all members can work on and share with one another. We believe that both making and experiencing art can have a soothing effect and can lead to positive, personal transformation. We also hope to introduce participants to a new experience of art: one that establishes a lifelong relationship with creative work as a catalyst for personal wellness.
